Coca-Cola HBC Hungary has appointed a new Country Sales Director, effective as of the end of last year. Márton Vajda will be responsible for leading the entire Hungarian sales operations of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary, the country’s largest beverage manufacturer.
At the same time, Yiannis Kesisoglou, former Country Sales Director of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary and a member of the company’s management board since 2019, will continue his career in a new role at group level.
Márton Vajda was appointed Country Sales Director in December 2025. Over the past two decades, he has held several senior commercial leadership roles at Coca-Cola HBC Hungary, including Area Manager and Category Marketing Manager. Between 2018 and 2023, he served as a member of the company’s management board, where he was responsible for the premium spirits and coffee business units. He played a key role in reintroducing the coffee category into the company’s full beverage portfolio, strengthening its coffee brands across both the domestic retail and HoReCa channels, and doubling the performance of the premium spirits business. Under his leadership, the company became the largest distributor of imported premium spirits in the Hungarian market. Márton Vajda later gained extensive international experience. Prior to his current appointment, he led the integration of Finlandia Vodka in Poland and the Baltics, and subsequently oversaw the premium spirits portfolio of nine countries as Regional Business Development Manager.
In his new role, he will focus on ensuring the high performance of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary’s sales processes and on the further development of retail partnerships, thereby contributing to the continued growth and business results of the beverage manufacturer, which operates production facilities in Dunaharaszti and Zalaszentgrót.
It is a great honour to take over the leadership of the sales organisation 20 years after joining the company at the very start of my career. I feel fortunate to work alongside such talented colleagues and to inherit a stable business operation from my predecessor, Yiannis Kesisoglou, under whose leadership outstanding results were achieved in both sales performance and customer satisfaction. I will be leading an organisation where we share the belief that sustainable business success can only be achieved through consistent, values-driven everyday work. As Country Sales Director, my goal is to further strengthen our customer-centric approach, develop the next generation of leaders, and foster efficient cross-functional collaboration.
