The Robot Picking investment of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary won a professional award

The technology magazine GyártásTrend organized the Factory of the Year Project Competition for the first time this year, where innovative industrial projects that improve production efficiency were recognized, in the spirit of the previous Factory of the Year competitions. At the contest, the Robot Picking investment of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary won a Special Mention award in the category “Industry Supply Chain Project of the Year”.

The winners were announced on May 3 in Budapest. The Robot Picking investment led by artificial intelligence significantly improves the picking efficiency of the company's central warehouse in Dunaharaszti and contributes to even more accurate customer service.

According to the jury, the Robot Picking development is a unique innovation in the logistics processes of the Hungarian food industry, which serves as an example for others in the sector.

We are proud that our Robot Picking investment has been recognized by the industry. Our aim is to enable even faster and more accurate customer service through the digitalization and automatization of our logistics processes, hence, to build the largest Central European production hub of the Coca-Cola System in Hungary with the help of forward-looking technological innovations. Due to the symbiosis of human and robotic resources in the warehouse, we are now able to increase our picking efficiency by 15 percent, which allows us to respond even faster and more accurately to changing customer needs.
