Coca-Cola Hungary’s #YouthEmpowered programme granted second international award

#YouthEmpowered programme, which aims to help young people to find their way on the labour market, has received the bronze award of the international CSR Excellence Award. The programme was awarded among international competitors in the Community commitment category, which focuses on those programmes that help communities in different ways. The CSR Excellence award is granted each year for those corporate social responsibility programmes that had great impact on conquering social inequalities or have worked on environmental protection.

#YouthEmpowered, which was launched in 2017, aims to help NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) youth between the ages of 18-30 to find their way on the labour market through free online and in-person workshops. Over the course of the last four years, target groups of the programme have gradually increased, and currently the programme offers workshops not only for NEET youth, but to young mothers, young women, disadvantaged youth, young entrepreneurs, fresh graduates and university students as well. The bronze award of CSR Excellence is the second international award of #YouthEmpowered, which, including the two Hungarian awards, is now is the owner of altogether four different CSR awards.

While last year in-person workshops of #YouthEmpowered were temporarily halted due to the pandemic, the online courses available at www.enjovom.hu – the programme’s website – and webinars organised together with Google Hungary have helped the programme to reach over 9,600 participants by the end of the year. This year’s plans include increasing the number of target groups, as well as organising further online workshops and developing the learning material of the programme.

More information on #YouthEmpowered can be found on the programme’s website www.enjovom.hu and its Facebook and Instagram pages.
