Exploring the secret of sustainable mineral water

We demonstrate innovations supporting our sustainable operation via a forest stroll and a bike challenge on Explorer’s Day exhibition at Millenáris Park this Saturday. Today, Coca‑Cola HBC Hungary uses one litre less water in average to produce one litre beverage than in 2006, and our NaturAqua mineral water plant in Zalaszentgrót operates using almost 100 percent renewable energy.

Our company will debut on Explorer’s Day at Millenáris this Saturday. The visitors can experience the atmosphere of a stroll in the forest and participate in a bike challenge while getting to know interesting facts about the sustainable operation of our Zalaszentgrót mineral water plant. Our exhibition stand is a “7próba” location, so those interested can get two stamps and a bottle of NaturAqua as well.

As a result of the innovative investments of the past years, today the company uses one litre less water in average to produce one litre beverage, than in 2006. Besides, four heat pumps – including one of the biggest heat pump of the country - operate in the Zalaszentgrót plant, we purchase electricity only from certified green sources, thus our plant operates using almost 100 percent green energy.
