We have been distributing premium spirits in Hungary since 2006.

We first started our distribution with the BROWN-FORMAN portfolio (Jack Daniel’s, Finlandia, El Jimador) in 2006, then we expanded it with the BACARDI portfolio (Bacardi, Bombay Sapphire Gin) in 2008. Another expansion happened in 2010, when the EDRINGTON GROUP (The Famous Grouse, Naked Grouse, The Macallan, Highland Park, Brugal 1888) and the RÉZANGYAL GROUP spirits and pálinkas joined our already wide portfolio.

The portfolio was expanded again in 2016, when we started our collaboration with the CAMPARI GROUP (Campari, Cinzano, Aperol).

Seeing the increasing demand for low- and non-alcoholic beverages, we entered the market with Fluére, a new, premium category in 2019.

Jack Daniel’s

What makes Jack Daniel’s different from other whiskeys?

It's mellowed with charcoal. After distillation it very slowly drips through three metres of thickly arranged sugar maple charcoal. This filtering makes the whiskey softer and lends it a unique flavour before it is set to mature in burnt white oak casks.  The manufacturer strictly controls the quality of the charcoal, which is made in the distillery.

Since 1866, every cask in which Jack Daniel’s whiskey is matured is manufactured in the company's own cooperage.

These casks, which are only used once, are made exclusively of new American white oak. Every cask is made by hand with exquisite craftsmanship, before they are exposed to flames. Since whiskey gets all of its colour and most of its flavour from the cask in which it is matured, Jack Daniel’s coopers take all the time and care needed to manufacture perfect casks.

After seven generations this original classic whiskey is still made the same way as in Mr Daniel’s time. The reason is simple: worldwide, consumers of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 expect the same characteristic velvety taste every time. Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 becomes genuine Tennessee whiskey through a charcoal mellowing process. Its rich aroma is further refined even before the long maturation process starts in the company’s self-manufactured casks.

The Gentleman Jack brew is mellowed on charcoal before being put in the cask.

Gentleman Jack is charcoal mellowed again after reaching maturity - making it the only whiskey in the world to be charcoal mellowed twice. Gentleman Jack is full-bodied with fruit and spices, and its finish is silky, warm and pleasant.

Single Barrel is matured in barrels selected by the master distiller; these are handmade and deliver a unique flavour themselves, which explains the name of the whiskey. The full-bodied flavour of the spirit is enhanced by a touch of burned oak, vanilla and caramel. Each barrel, and the liquid that comes out of it, has its own unique flavour.

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey is the perfect blend of original Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and a spiced honey liqueur. The new flavour is undeniably unique and distinctly Jack. The naturally silky experience mellowed by honey is this whiskey's trademark.

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire blends “spicy” cinnamon liqueur with the classic and charismatic taste of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey.

A whiskey-based liqueur with notes of cinnamon and 35 percent alcohol, resulting in a unique taste, which carries the traditional flavors of Jack Daniel’s whiskey and the unique “fiery” character of cinnamon.

Jack Daniel’s No. 27 is the double-casked and double-mellowed version of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 – the number 27 is a symbol of the “double result”.

After being filtered through charcoal, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey is matured in a new, American white oak cask, then it is removed from the original oak cask and transferred to special burnt maple casks, which adds a special character to the whiskey’s flavor. This is how Jack Daniel’s No. 27 Gold becomes a rich-flavored, light, and luxurious whiskey.

El Jimador

This exquisitely flavoured tequila gets its name from the agave harvesters, the El Jimador, who pass down the traditional art of distillation from generation to generation, virtually pouring their spirit into this drink, one of the best tasting and best quality tequilas of the world, made of 100 percent agave.

The agave plantations stand proudly on the estate of Casa Herradura Tequila as far as the eye can see, offering up a bright and colourful picture. After seven to eight years of meticulous care, only the ripest and most healthy blue agaves are harvested by the El Jimador, an event which marks the start of the production of Mexico's number one tequila.

The “heart” of the harvested agave plant (the giant cone between the leaves) is steamed slowly in traditional clay furnaces until its starch turns into sugar. Then, after a similarly careful cooling process, the boiled agave juice is ready for fermentation.

The sugar content of the agave leaves turns into alcohol in a natural fermentation process. In contrast to other producers who use commercial yeast to accelerate fermentation, in the distilleries of El Jimador tequila only the natural yeast found in the air stimulate fermentation, lending the Casa Herradura tequila brands their special flavour.

After fermentation the agave juices are distilled twice. In both distillation processes the alcohol yielded in the first and the last phases (the head and the tail) is not used, which ensures that only the purest and the best quality tequila reaches the shelves in El Jimador bottles.

The word “blanco” means white in Spanish. This drink is promptly bottled after distillation, and gets its unique flavour from its 100 percent agave content. Its natural ingredients and sweet citrus flavour make it an ideal choice, both straight or in cocktails.

”Reposado” means matured in Spanish, and this tequila is certainly true to its name.

In 1974, The Tequila House was the first to introduce Reposado as a tequila category; uniquely, this tequila is aged in oak barrels for 60 days, which not only created a new tradition but also enhances the inimitable flavour of tequilas. The shiny gold colour and the unbelievably velvety flavour are the result of the 100 percent agave content and more than two months ageing in oak barrels.

Pálinka is a traditional Hungarian brandy made with the distillation of fermented fruit. The name has a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) certification: the pálinka expression can only be used by Hungary and four Austrian provinces. Its most common ingredients are plums, pears, apples, apricots, cherries, grape marc, and strawberries, but can also be made from any other fruit grown in Hungary (and only from local apricots in the Austrian provinces).

What exactly is blending?

The word blend originally comes from Scotland and means the marriage of different ingredients. The Scots first used it in 1534, blending whiskies from various years and distillation technologies. This is where the term blended scotch also comes from.

Pálinka blending is done in the most authentic way possible. We buy the best quality pálinkas from well-known producers in large quantities and then blend and mature them in Rézangyal’s own cellars. This is how we keep the established Rézangyal quality on a high level.

Premium Collection:

The expertise of the country’s most renowned pálinka masters, the love of the profession, the carefully selected fruits and ingredients, and last but not least, the unbreakable experimental spirit meet each other in our premium portfolio, and the result can be found in each bottle.

András Márton Rézangyal’s blend master

In addition to the distinctive, full-bodied aromas, the higher alcohol level gives our spirit an even stronger and sweeter aroma with a spicier character. A blend of two excellent single-distilled pálinkas that are each other’s frequent rivals in competitions: one with wide and full jammy flavor and the other with notes of fresh and floral peach.

The unique aroma of our pálinka is characterized by smooth chocolate and strong cocoa, accompanied with a heavier, more masculine taste. The irresistible plum’s distinct character is complemented by strong, intense aromas in our glass. A very exciting distillate as it is exclusively made of single-distilled pálinkas, with some special items such as Lepotica and Bistrița plum.

A light, straw-yellow color with flashes of white. Its aroma evokes surprisingly strong, fresh Golden apples with a touch of cinnamon and pine honey. The taste has a thick and rich aroma. The aged apple pálinka is made of two types of distillate: a single-distilled and a double-distilled one. The double-distilled item is the basic of blending, perfectly complemented and characterized by the single-distilled, fresh and intensively aged pálinka from Szatmár county.

A light, muscat flavor accompanied by an aroma reminiscent of freshly cut green grass, with floral and slightly perfumed notes. Irsai Olivér grapes are not only excellent for wines, but a main ingredient for special pálinkas as well, and can win the consumers’ favor on the first scent. Our Irsai Olivér pálinka’s freshness is due to it exclusively consisting pálinka blends that were made with single-distillation for the more intense muscat features to stand out as much as possible.

The higher alcohols are almost lost in the juicy and excellent aroma of cherries, which turns this strong pálinka into a chocolaty, soft, and creamy beverage. This sour cherry pálinka is a blend of perfect, fresh, single-distilled pálinkas evoking a general cherry experience, backed with good strong alcohol.

Classic kollekció:

The classic collection includes the flagship products of our brand. We designed the members of the family according to consumer taste, so the character, aroma, flavor, and aftertaste of each of our items respond precisely to mainstream needs. When designing our pálinkas, we pay great attention to ensuring all of this in the coming years with permanently high-quality.

Gabriella Borbáth Brand ambassador

Ripe apricots’ outstanding harmony of flavor and aroma makes it special. Its taste is unfalsifiable, juicy, full-bodied, and sweet apricot, with a nice touch of alcohol. Rézangyal’s apricot pálinka is made of the blending of three excellent pálinkas.  Two of the three distillates are a distinctive component of the whole, as the fullness and aftertaste of the pálinka is coming from the double-distilled apricot spirit, while the fresh, floral notes are from the single-distilled one. It consists the third item in only an indicative quantity, which provides the bottle’s wider, jammier, heavier characteristics. Our blended apricot pálinka is a prime example of how the values of various flavors and aromas are adding up with different processes.

At first scent, it is reminiscent of cloves and star anise, which comes from the aging process in barrels. Spicy and herbal flavors take turns, and the lightness of muscat plums appear as well. Without any doubt, this is our most complex pálinka, both in terms of the number of taste and aroma notes coming from the blended items and due to the aging in barrels. The blend includes full-bodied and characteristic single-distilled Békés red plums, as well as several delicious, aromatic, and spicy plum varieties made with single-distillation, such as Japanese plums, Debrecen muscat plums, and lepotica plums. These items provide the main floral characters of the blend.

Light, elegant, pleasantly sweet scent reminiscent of fresh flowers. Its chocolaty flavor has a sweet, marzipan aftertaste. Our black cherry pálinka is a blend of 3 excellent distillates. The core of it is a single-distilled item made from several cherry, complemented by a double-distilled second one with a more bodied and intense flavor. To make the addition of values even more evident, the Szomolya black cherry, considered as the queen of cherries, is an integral part of the blend, ensuring an taste-experience.

Very popular among the youth, the one-year-long fermentation process on a bed of domesticated fruits gives its harmonic flavor characterized by distinct fruitiness, soft and especially sweet honey aromas with a spicy and characteristic aftertaste. Bedded pálinka is a fruit brandy that was aged for at least three months together with fruit. To make bedded pálinka, at least 10 kg of ripe or 5 kg of dried fruit must be added for 100 liters of pálinka. If the fruit bed is the same as the type of the pálinka, the pálinka gets its name from the given fruit (e.g. bedded plum pálinka). However, when the bed of fruit contains more than one type of fruit, the pálinka can only be called mixed fruit pálinka (e.g. bedded mixed fruit).

Its aroma has more fruit: after the intense peach and some jam scents you can notice some refreshing citrus. Its taste is sweeter, less fruity, characterized by clean, full aromas, with deliciously sweet but not too raucous and intense alcohols.

In addition to muscat, lime honey, and peach flowers, it pampers you with the scent of freshly cut, grainy, and hard-fleshed pears.

A real summer favorite with its sweet juicy peach aroma and strong fruit-citrus notes.

The characteristically intense aroma of raspberries almost explodes from the glass at first smell. Its juicy taste and fruity, sweet aroma give its consumer an extraordinary experience. Our bedded raspberry pálinka is not a typical raspberry pálinka, but a wider, longer-lasting distillate with more understated aromas. Bedded with fresh raspberry.

You can feel the intense cinnamon, cloves, and plum jam on first scent. Pleasantly creamy, flatteringly sweet.

The FLUÈRE name is a translation from the Latin „flow” word.

Pronunciation: FLU –AIR –E

This beverage is a work of art made with a distillation technique used in perfume houses. The distillation of plants such as juniper, lavender, coriander, and lemon peel creates a high-quality taste and aroma. The taste resembles gin the most.

It is produced in Gröningen, the Netherlands, in the Hooghoudt distillery, founded in 1888.

The owner of the brand is the Dutch FLUERE DRINKS BV.

Fluère is a special work of art, made for the best low- and non-alcoholic cocktails. No matter what the occasion is, Fluére is always a good reason. Fine, dark roasted coffee, cocoa, liquorice, tonka beans and toffee makes up the taste of Fluère Spiced Cane.

Fluère is a special work of art, made for the best low- and non-alcoholic cocktails. No matter what the occasion is, Fluére is always a good reason. For the flowery, complex yet balanced taste we only use the most exquisite herbs.

One of the world’s most famous and loved premium gin brand is available both in Hungary’s bars and on the shop’s shelves. It is no coincidence that Bulldog Gin has become a bartender’s favorite: the beverage that redefined London Dry Gin’s tradition has caused a turmoil on the British gin market.

Bulldog’s lemony and complex flavor is made not only of juniper but an additional 11 herbs. Its defining spices are juniper, angelica root, coriander, and lemon; iris and  cassia add more nuance, and the last twist is given by lavender, white poppy, lotus leaf and a bold specialty, longan - also known as Chinese dragon's eye. The premium ingredients responsible for the flavors come from all over Europe, Africa, and Asia, and are added to the gin during the its fourth distillation.

The Famous Grouse

The Famous Grouse is a product of sheer Scottish culture, and its recipe for success was created in the early 1800s by Matthew Gloag, whose signature is still on every bottle to this day. Tradition, a full and harmonious aroma, maturation in special sherry casks, and an excellent quality - these are the ingredients that made Scotland’s number one whiskey truly famous.

The Famous Grouse is Scotland’s number one whiskey. Matthew Gloag created the deservedly famous Scotch whiskey in 1896 and named it The Grouse Brand. The Famous Grouse was born on August 12, 1905.

The Famous Grouse Smoky Black is an intense blend of smoky peat malt and Scotland’s most loved whisky, The Famous Grouse.

The Naked Grouse enriches the flavor of Scotland’s favorite whiskey with an aroma created by the maturing process in sunbathed sherry oak casks. The high-quality, first-filled sherry casks create a dark, rust-colored look and an aroma that evokes a blend of black cherry, cocoa, and oak. The majestically smooth taste experience is complemented by the whiskey’s trademark aroma: dried fruits, cinnamon sticks, and nutmeg.

The Macallan distillery was founded in 1824 by Alexander Read in North East Scotland, on a plateau along the River Spey, on a 485-acre estate. It was one of the first legally operated distilleries in Scotland. Macallan whiskey was born from a combination and contribution of Spanish, North American and Scottish natural ingredients, local traditions, and expertise.

We can consider Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask the successor of the old 12 Year Old Sherry Oak. As a special feature it was made of Macallan malts matured for 12 years in ex-sherry casks. In this case, the term “double cask” means that the spirit has been matured in both American and European Oak casks. The delicious and comforting flavors of American Oak - vanilla, citrus and toffee – are in focus, while the traditional Macallan flavors – rich fruitiness and spiciness – provide the perfect backdrop for the drink.

Macallan 15 Year Old shows what perfection means, and the attitude the brand and each of its products have represented since its inception, Macallan's founding in 1824. Thanks to the unique and very complex combination of oak casks, the drink has a smooth and marvelous taste. The Holy Trinity of European and American seasoned sherry oak casks and American ex-bourbon oak casks: the exclusive and expert marriage results in an exceptional spirit with vibrant orange and chocolate flavours.

Rare Cask is a brilliantly deep and complex whiskey, coming from the very best sherry casks. It is recognizably being bottled four times a year, and each item reflects its full-bodied and strong character.

Highland Park – Proud, Adventurous and Fiercely Independent

Highland Park whiskey was created by Magnus Euson in a small village stone hut near Kirkwall. Euson was a direct descendant of the Vikings who settled in Orkney. He was a butcher and a church officer by day and an (alcohol) smuggler by night. His illegally set-up stillhouse is still the site of the distillery, although it has since expanded to a “slightly” larger size.

We say that Higland Park was founded in 1798, but in truth, that’s just the year that Euson reached an agreement with the local authorities.

220 years later, Highland Park is still being made according to Magnus’ production standard, without compromise.

Orkney Island, situated off the north coast of Scotland, is home to the more than two hundred years old Highland Park distillery. The wild and windy island is the guardian of Viking traditions and culture: the memory of the warrior nation’s six-hundred-years-old occupation is carried in the blood of one third of the population and in the blood of the Highland Park distillery’s workers as well, who accompanied the birth of whiskey for generations. The warrior heritage and modern knowledge are combined in Highland Park’s 10-year-old Viking Scars citrus-flavored and spicy single malt, a whisky containing only barley malt; along with Highland Park’s 12-year-old Viking Honor fruity-spicy single malt whiskey.

Brugal 1888

The founder – Don Andres Brugal – was born in Spain, 1849, then he emigrated to Cuba, and eventually moved to the Dominican Republic, where he founded Brugal & Co in the year 1888. The vision of his enterprise was to perfect the art of rum-making: his expertise was passed on to his family members and descendants.

130 years have passed, and now the 5th generation of the Brugal family is running the rum-making business; only family members can have the Blend Master (Maestro Ronero) title.

Brugal 1888 is one of the best-known rums on the international market, originating in the Dominican Republic. The spirit’s main ingredient is sugar cane molasses, and its characteristic taste is a result of at least 12 years of maturation (first in ex-bourbon and then in ex-sherry casks). Brugal 1888 owes its complexity to the unique, double-ageing process. The spirit’s signature sweetness, along with notes of vanilla and caramel is due to its time spent in American ex-bourbon casks. To create perfect harmony, the drink spends years in Spanish ex-sherry oak barrels, resulting in a dry taste, with a pleasant balance of citrus and red fruits.
