As a result of the continuous capacity expansion of the past few years, Coca‑Cola HBC Hungary became the biggest exporter of the Hellenic Group present in 28 countries. The growing export demand made the extension of the existing facility necessary; the investment is worth HUF 2 billion, making the Dunaharaszti warehouse the biggest of its kind in the country. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade welcomes the investment.
Coca‑Cola HBC Hungary became the biggest exporter of Coca‑Cola HBC Group in the past few years. Hellenic Group is present in 28 countries, and serves 600 million consumers.The Hungarian bottler offers more than 70 different products, exporting them to 25 countries. The continuously increasing demand made the extension of the existing storage capacity necessary, thus the company started to build a 6500-square metre warehouse worth HUF 2 billion in Dunaharaszti.

The new, 12-meter-high building will provide enough space to store 8.4 million litres of drinks on 12 thousand pallets. Following the extension, the Dunaharaszti facility will be the biggest food industry warehouse in Hungary. In total 450 people work on the construction and the building will be completed by June.
The company is proud that two-third of the raw material used for production is of Hungarian origin; the bottle caps, the apple extract and the sugar made of GMO-free Hungarian corn are all provided by local suppliers. From the latter alone, the company buys HUF 4 billion worth annually. Coca‑Cola HBC Hungary was the first to sign a strategic agreement with the government in 2012. Since then, the company has increased its revenue from HUF 87,5 billion to HUF 100 billion and its tax contribution has grown from HUF 17,7 to HUF 24,5 billion.
Today, Péter Szíjjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Minas Agelidis, General Manager of Coca‑Cola HBC Hungary reviewed and discussed issues of competitiveness of both the country and the company in a formal meeting.
